Juror Information

Petit Juror

• Term of service is a 3-month period. A random drawing determines which jurors are summoned for a specific trial date.
• If you are selected for a trial, you will receive a separate notice for the date you are to appear. Notices are mailed at least a week prior to the date of the trial.

Grand Juror

• Term of service is a 1-year period. A random drawing determines which jurors are summoned for grand jury service.
• If you are selected as a grand juror, you will receive a separate notice for the date you are to appear. Notices are mailed at least 10 days prior to the date you are to appear.

General Information

• Report to the Clinton County Courthouse in Carlyle at 850 Fairfax Street. Enter through the north doors and security at the front desk will direct you to your assigned courtroom.
• Cell phones are NOT permitted in the courthouse.
• Please dress comfortable, but appropriate, for court. (No T-shirts, shorts, tattered or ripped jeans, flip flops, etc.)
